The study of the safety application associated vaccine against cattle Clostridiosis for animals of different age and physiological groups

The use of associated drugs for specific prevention of infectious diseases in veterinary practice allows reducing economic costs of treatment and minimizing the effects of stress factors for animals. However, the production of biological products containing several types of antigens is a difficult task due to the necessary selection of the optimal quantitative ratio to ensure the formation of resistant and long-lasting immune response and to prevent the development of unwanted reactogenicity. In addition, the principle of holding specific prevention involves the use of vaccines for animals of different age groups and different physiological conditions, therefore, the antigenic preparations of different composition should not cause negative reactions in calves and pregnant cows. In this article the results of studying the safety of Klostbovak-8 vaccine in the introduction of the vaccine in cattle of different age groups, and cows in pregnancy are presented. It is shown that the Klostbovak-8 vaccine is safe in introduction inlaboratory animals and susceptible animals of different age groups when administered in an effective recommended dose once and twice, and at a dose twice exceeding the recommended one. When the drug is administered in accordance with the instructions for use in experimental animals no local or systemic undesirable reactions are revealed: anaphylaxis, depression, weakness, fever, abortion. The formation of minor aseptic swelling was observed in the place of injection absorbable on their own within 7-10 days. Thus, the conducted researches allows considering the vaccine against cattle clostridiosis to be a safe drug, the expected effectiveness of the application of which will greatly exceed the possible risks of its application.
