Efficiency of application of lactobifadol probiotic in the diet of young cattle of the red steppe breed

The article presents data on the use of probiotic Lactobifid as a stimulant of growth processes. The application of this preparation allowed to reveal its effectiveness in increasing absolute and relative growth, ensured and greater average daily gains in calves of the experimental group. Also important is the fact of increasing the feed intake of experimental animals during the period of the experience: so the animals of the experimental group consumed more than the control group of animals feed such as meadow hay (7,2 kg), green fodder (13,1 kg), haylage grass-forb (6,4 kg). It is worth noting the decrease in the consumption of concentrates in 50 kg.
