The new variety of spring triticale Rovnya

As a result of joint work of the Krasnodar Research Institute for Agriculture and Agricultural Research Institute of Vladimir created variety of spring triticale Rovnya who in 2014 has been authorized to production in the Central, North-Western, Central Black Soil and Volga-Vyatka regions, from 2015 - for the Far East region. The average over 3 years (2009-2011) in the competitive variety trials Rovnya formed a yield of 50,2 c / ha, exceeding in this indicator regionalized standard variety Grebeshok by 6,5 c/ha, and became equal with the best analogues of international breeding. It provides a variety of high productivity due dense stalks, larger grains and lot of grains per spike. Grain red, smooth and have a good plumping. Test weight of grain is high, averaging 757 g/l, data by years varying from 695 to 768 g/l. Grain has medium or highly glassiness. Protein content in grains is high. Wet protein accumulates, on average 13,7% (with varying by years from 13,1 to 13,9%). Rovnya tolerates to aridness. Resistance of the new variety for enzyme-mycotic exhaustion of seeds and to sprouting is higher than average. Rovnya is a hi-tech variety as well suited to combine harvesting. Variety Rovnya is immune to mildew, leaf and stem rust, smuts diseases low susceptible to yellow rust, leaf septoria spot.
